Dubai International Financial Center

DIFC is a global financial hub within proximity to Business Bay and Downtown with high rise towers and an exotic stretch of retails spaces. It is a community of modernity, and the epitome of Dubai city life. The 110-hectare district casually serves as a ‘gateway to development’. Besides being a commercial zone, it also has few high end residentials. DIFC is the most linked with transportation and most suitable for professionals who work in financial industry.  

Amusing events and galleries create vibrant environment in DIFC. It’s the practical place to rent an office due to its reputation and near proximity all the commercial entities and businesses facilitates all kinds of activities supporting set of tax regime and judicial system in Dubai.

Hotels in DIFC

There are upscale hotels catered as a modern stay in including The Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The Ritz Carlton offers 5 star amenities apart from executive residences, while Four Seasons is a boutique style for a more relaxing ambiance and Waldorf Astoria is the most prestigious hotel offering luxury hospitality and known for high end dining restaurants such as Artisan II Ristorante Dubai.


Driving would encounter traffic jams occasionally especially during peak hours. Buildings have their own indoor parking though visitors may have to pay higher as it’s a prime area of Dubai. Public transportation is the way in DIFC as there are metro stations and bus stations are conveniently located around the common areas.


DIFC is an absolute gem for plethora of amenities reachable within a short walk. A lot of supermarkets like Spinneys, Fresh Mart Supermarket are located within DIFC and the one in Central Park Towers are open throughout the week.

There is The DIFC Grand Mosque in Gate Avenue is one of the most scenic mosques in Dubai. There are few notable international nurseries for children and there is Babilou MENA and Hartland International School also there are several institutions offering international courses.


DIFC faces across world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, the largest mall in the world, and this location puts high credibility as in close proximity to the most famous landmarks including Dubai Fountain and the Opera. DIFC is also near to the magnificent development, Dubai Science Museum, and World Trade Center.


Though the place is aimed to be the commercial hub, it has evolved into a place that has amenities dedicated to residing to date. There is a wide selection of family recreational centers, dining places, coffee shops and other casual places. DIFC is a stone away from the world biggest shopping venue, The Dubai Mall, also it contains few fine brands in it for a distinguished experience.

For nightlife scene, there are a lot of exclusive bars in DIFC catering mostly office workers offering happy hours daily except for fridays. To name few, BOCA in Gate Village and Carnival by Tresind, Mint Leaf of London and Cafe Belge are the popular ones among the residences.

The Gate is the famous landmark in Dubai and it has its Gate Village filled with world famous eateries such as Salt and Al Mandaloun. The Marble Walk is another popular place that is only for take away as considering it’s a busy district. There is also a casual dining option on the terrace called The Balcony.

DIFC occupies best art galleries in Dubai. For example, The Empty Quarter, a gallery staunch for fine arts photography featuring well known and reputable photographers. Opera Gallery is the most prestigious gallery in Dubai residing in DIFC.


Community Park in Dubai Investment Park and Zabeel Park are just 10 minutes of drive from DIFC. Dubai Garden Glow is also not quite far for driving which is approximately 12 mins away. There are a number of spas and relaxation centers in the 5 star hotels and varieties of gyms are in DIFC such as Fitness First and UP Fitness.

The area is highly congested hence it’s often not too ideal for residing with family with kids. The schools are not convenient to access from residentials making it challenging for parents with small kids.
